What to Get Your Significant Other for Valentine’s Day

Uncategorized

Wondering what to get your significant other for Valentine’s Day? OK, we get it. Valentine’s Day is still almost a month away. Most men generally don’t think about such things until February 13th. Most women are a little bit more conscientious and start planning a wee bit earlier.

One Guy’s Opinion

As a male writing about Valentine’s Day, my opinions might be totally flawed as they relate to women’s feelings about the gift(s) they receive on Valentine’s Day. So, please take my opinions with a grain of salt and feel free to totally disagree.

Women probably will not let you in the house again, ever, if you were to give them a new set of tires for Valentine’s Day, even if you include chocolates. Men, on the other hand, would probably be overjoyed (as long as we get to pick them out).

Be Careful With Your Selection

Custom wheels for your lady? Not bloody likely, unless you enjoy sleeping on the sofa for extended periods of time. Custom wheels for your man? You bet cha! (as long as we get to pick them out).

Here’s an idea or two that might augment the not-so-original dinner reservations/candy/ and flowers routine. Does he or she drink coffee (or anything for that matter)? Does he or she take it with them every morning? How about getting him or her a customized (powder coated) Yeti type tumbler? You can have it powder coated red and put anything you want on it such as Happy Valentine’s Day 2017, or both your names. You might even customize it with his or her favorite college football team’s logo.

Two birds with one stone: get her the tumbler and fill it with flowers.

Be Original

Got any old, mostly dilapidated metal lawn furniture that’s almost ready for the junk yard? What better way to say “I Love You” than by making something old new again? Powder coating old lawn furniture will make it like new again and will last for years.  You know, like your love for him or her.

As always, it’s the thought that counts. Postle Tire Barn is always thinking of you when comes to customer service, honesty and courtesy. We’ve been serving Tuscaloosa and the West Alabama area for more than 35 years. We are the home of Great Prices and NO BULL.
