Tire mounting and dismounting might seem like the most routine of services offered by a tire store. With today’s low profile tires and expensive original equipment and custom wheels, having the proper, state of the art equipment to do the job right is paramount. Postle’s Tire Barn has invested in three of the newest Coats High Performance Tire Changers including the Leverless Progaurd Plus, capable of handling wheels up to 30 inches in diameter, the new GTS60 and GTS70 series both of which were just released in late 2015.

Vibration Diagnostics
Postle’s Tire Barn has a solution to your rough riding vehicle. Our state of the art Road Force Balancing System takes the guess work out of solving vibration problems. Road Force Balancing uses up to 1250 pounds of pressure on your tires and wheels to analyze how your they ride under the weight of your vehicle. Computerized sensors calculate irregularities and allow our technicians to make needed adjustments so your car rides like new again.
Wheel Repair
We are proud to say that we have one of the few wheel straightening machines in the Southeast. Our wheel straightening process can take what previously might have been a wheel headed to the scrap pile and repair it so it looks and rides like a brand new wheel. In most cases, we can repair a wheel for a fraction of the cost of a new wheel.
Wheel Refinishing
Wheel refinishing is another service we offer, and again, we are one of the few places in the Southeast with in-house refinishing capabilities. Maybe you’ve replaced your original wheels with custom wheels or maybe you have an upgraded factory wheel package that came on your vehicle as original equipment. Scratching a wheel on the curb or bending a wheel due to a pot-hole can be a huge headache. If this happens to you, give us a call or stop by. Chances are, we can make your damaged wheel look brand new.
Wheel Balancing & Road Force Balancing
It used to be that any tire store could balance your tire and wheel assembly and do a pretty good job. These days, with low profile tires and original equipment wheels coming in 20+ inch diameters, most tire businesses just can’t do it anymore. It takes commitment to investing in the best equipment and the best people, and we’ve done both. If your car, truck or SUV rides like you’re traveling on a dirt road, bring it by and let our specialists inspect it. If you buy your new tires from us, we’ll keep them balanced for free as long as you own them.
